Tom Harrison recently represented VESL at an update meeting in the House of Commons. The meeting provided valuable insights into the current situation in Sri Lanka, particularly regarding the impact of the recent election on the peace process and the ongoing ceasefire agreement.
VESL is keeping a close eye on the security situation and will adjust its intended programme for summer 2006 if the situation in the North and East continues to deteriorate. Those projects not in the North and East will continue as planned.
