About VESL

VESL provides meaningful volunteering opportunities from  4 weeks to 12 months in Thailand, India & Sri Lanka.

VESL is a UK based charity (no. 1117908) run by a dedicated team of experienced past volunteers.

We run well-supported projects providing opportunities to volunteer abroad throughout the year, helping support rural schools teaching English in Thailand, Sri Lanka and India.

Every project is carefully selected to ensure maximum benefits are brought to local communities while making every effort to ensure volunteers have an unforgettable experience.

Volunteers are sent overseas throughout the year and we have projects to suit volunteers with all types of skills base and experience.

Applications are evaluated on their own merit – it is not essential to have a TEFL qualification or previous volunteer experience provided you can show you have the right kind of character and attitude…

VESL is a registered charity in the UK
and is not run for profit.

Volunteering overseas is always going to be a challenging experience.

By interviewing every volunteer we’re able to place you within a project that will put you beyond your comfort zone without giving you an unrealistic objective.

We are passionate about making each project a success and ultimately aim for every volunteer to feel proud of their achievement.
