The 2006 summer projects have now been confirmed and we are pleased to be returning to some of our long standing projects in the Central Province as well as taking on new projects in the South. This year will see a number of additional summer schools and English Language Clubs being set up to help support our more established projects as well as our teaching and language assistant placements. We will also see more Teaching Workshops being run for Sri Lankan English Teachers by a team of Volunteer Teachers who will be heading out at the end of July.
Things are definitely looking set to be a very successful summer. VESL would like to wish all our 2006 volunteers a wonderful summer.
